Early blue hub fan clutch

I tried the search. A quick question, is the early blue hub fan clutch better than the current newer model blue fan clutch? Some claim the early blue hub clutch has bigger reservoir and more shering area for better efficient cooling.

The Aisin black and early blue have a cast thermostat holder and the later has stamped sheet metal, so easy to tell them. From my observation they are stronger with equal fluid, not that big of a deal, just put thicker fluid in, if you have the newer one. Pix of the differences start with post 50 on this page;

They are discontinued, superseded to the new style.

I found a source where I can get it in Malaysia. I am going to have my family bring it over to me when they come and visit me soon. The price is about the same as the newer blue hub, I will get the early model since it is better.
