Thanks to 78toyfj40 (Scott), I now have a new front bumper. :D

It's a custom piece of work done by the PO of his truck, and is of good quality. It's beat, but it fits perfectly with my truck.

Bought it for $75.

Here are a few pics... That's my buddy in the pics, BTW.

price was right! looks hefty. Are those mounts on the bumper single sided? id want them C shaped or mounted around the frame. Not like you got airbag sensors...so as long as its solid it should be good. I like how its nice and tucked in for being such large dimension pieces. can you hide a winch behind that ctr panel? or you do you vote lockers?
Go crush some rocks :)

It mounts to the stock bolt holes. There are only three bolts holding it up right now, but it's still a sturdy piece of work. We jacked up the truck from the bumper, after it was mounted, and it held like a vise. I'm still gonna grind the one hole a bit bigger so I can use all 4 bolts.

Can't hide a winch, unfortunately, but I always go wheeling in a group. No lockers, either :D But now I can roll over trees, rocks, smart cars, etc...

Nice Lane,

It's good to see a mud member bought that. I saw that on KSL.com, I too was wondering about the winch mount, but heck, for the price you can beat that. It looked like a pretty stout bumper. Looks good. Make sure you plow over plenty of smart cars and suv's with 20"+ rims that are so ubiquitous down there in happy valley for me.

Who needs a winch? I'm the kind of guy that if my truck gets stuck, I just yank it out with another. I'm usually doing the yanking, though. :hillbilly:

My buddy (in the pics) actually found and told me about it, and not three hours later, it became mine.

Thanks :D

Sounds like a good buddy - also helped you out installing. Cheers!

Be VERY careful (AKA - don't do it) jacking off cribbing of cinder block(s).

Yeah; he's a Toyota guy, too. That's his black 4Runner in the last pic. He's got better skills with the sawzall than I do...

The jack was there to hold the bumper in place while we bolted it in.

And to lift the truck for a minute afterward.

Nice and brutal.
Your new bumper makes your 80 smile - add some teeth to make it look meaner:D
