blarsen's Intercooler for TRD Supercharger got me thinking. I'm very interested in doing a similar mod, but I am curious about a few things.
What effect would an intercooler have on gas mileage?
The air cooled by the intercooler is denser, and I think that increases power output. Does that mean less fuel is consumed? I wonder if a larger IC could be a viable mod to increase fuel efficiency.
Does anybody know if it would be possible to install two smaller sized IC's under the 80's hood?
How efficacious would active cooling (such as a large fan) be on the intercooler?
What is done about water entering a hood scoop? Does it help cool the intercooler at all?
Has anyone tried a twin turbo?
