My '87 fj60 has recently begun to lose power while trying to accelerate. It does this while warm and cold and in every gear. I have had a tune up in the last 5000 miles, i.e. fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, valve adjust. There has also been a bad burning smell occasionally if I really try to push the engine. The rpms will go up but then slowly recede while I'm accelerating. Is this a clutch issue or possibly a loss of vacuum somewhere? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
