For some reason that I don't even understand myself, I want to paint my 62 in zebra stripes. I think it goes back to my days of watching Daktari on the teev. I want to paint it with white durabak, and then black stripes (rattle can). Its already white so at least the engine bay etc will kinda match the paint job.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some pics so I can get an idea ??

Thanks

How bout these? :D

The 40 looks cool but the 80 (?) behind it looks odd.

Whatever sinks the sandbag my friend....

I wanted to do this for the longest time, to the point where I enlisted Adam Tolman's graphic arts expertise to get a rendition. Never got around to it (like a lot of stuff I plan), mostly because I didn't trust my painting ability to deliver the vision. I still think it would look bad ass, though, I grew up watching Daktari!

Not a Cruiser but you get the idea. Don't know who's it is but always liked it.

That's it !!!! I'm sold !!!!!!!

Dunno if my dog is gonna enjoy becoming a different colour (that is a dog in the trailer isn't it ???)

I didn't know that dogs came with those types of spots!! HAHA!!

I think that the animal is a leapord, which I think I spelled wrong.

He's an Australian Cattle Dog, also called Blue Heeler and Queensland Heeler. He does have pretty weird coloring, and thinks the Land Cruiser is his.

Be careful with the white Durabak. I used it on the inside of the tailgate on my 86 PU and it turned yellow after one summer in the sun. I'd solicit some experienced opinions on the use of white for exterior applications before I put it on the Cruiser...
