Just replaced the plugs with the recommended NGK's. I have the gap about .004 larger than the manual. Will this cause a stumble at the hit of the throttle? I was hoping this would solve a long start (has to crank alot). It didn't. What could cause a long cranking period. I would love it it it started at the turn of the key. Could it have something to do with the injectors? thx matt

No. Increasing the plug gap will create a larger/hotter spark, but at the expense of working all the ignition components harder. Shouldn't make any difference on an EFI engine.

Yes, it is not getting fuel initially. Check the rest pressure of the fuel system, probably bleeding down.
