I am working on the mounting right now and know that I am going the have to cut the valence to make the drum fit but was wondering about the clutch. I know that you can turn the clutch to where the lever is on top if you were going to mount the winch in the feet facing forward position. My question is as you can see from the second picture if I can turn the clutch about an 1/8 of a turn I will not have to cut the valance right for room for the clutch lever to have room to move.

So my question is can you turn the clutch an 1/8 of a turn?

Thanks in advance.

I thought you could clock it to as many positions as there are bolt holes present on the clutch.
Def. not the gospel, so let's wait for more answers.

Yeah I got impatient on an answer so I took it off and yes you can turn it in an position that you need. Thanks Wile.

this is how i did it. I put the box in the grill for easy wiring and ran two supports off the grill support. i cut the bottom of the grill support to mount the winch as far back as possible.

I will post pics when i fnish installing it this weekend.
