I have a ton of parts laying around but my extra rigs are 1976 or 1977 FJ 40's. It took me over a year to find the correct emission items on the last 1977/1978 rig so I have been holding off building anything.

LandCrusher909 posted up a late 1969/early 1970 tub and frame for sale. This is early enough to not be covered under the California emission regulations. SWEET!

I visited the King of the Hammers for a few minutes and dropped some items off and then headed off into the sunset through the Joshua Tree National Park to pick up this rig.

In true LandCrusher 909 style, I will be building this rig out of spare parts and not spending a dime.

I used the tractor and the Engine hoist and installed a new Lux clutch assy before I installed it in the rig.

Installed my Trail Spare engine mounts. I can now got new engine mounts for my trail spare kit since I technically did not buy them for this rig. LOOPHOLE in the plan, LOL

I need that A/C bracket - plus anything A/C-related that may have come with it - it was bad (hot) out there on the trail today

since this is only early February in Arizona, I am not sure I'll survive another summer without A/C

please :flamingo:

somebody handed me what I think is a pre-brake-booster master brake cylinder - Miyaco, unknown condition, plastic reservoirs intact - feel free to let me know if you need it
