Eventually I'll replace with OEM, but this was a quick fix that seems to work pretty darn well.....

I got the idea when I parted out my FJ80 and had the pinch welting that went around the doorjambs on all four doors. Two of them have black weatherstrip (I think they're for the front doors). Got to looking at them and came up with this:

Then I trimmed it off to fit just below the striker and put a little Goop in the open end to seal it:

I used another piece of the section of the hardtop that extends to the top of the door. (I'll post up a pic of that later).

I had to adjust the strikers out just a bit to get the doors to latch all the way, but now they're nice and tight. Windows still rattle, but that's another story.

I don't have a solution for the area of the door where the hinges are or for along the top of the door, but thought I'd share a low-cost solution for the lower portion of the door......

Of course the set from the truck I was parting out was free, but I sourced a second set of four for $32 plus shipping. Others wanted up to $75 for the set, so shop around.
