Hello, I was hoping someone might have a picture or two of an early column shift linkage (intact). In particular the end of the controlshaft where the two column levers and the column shift bracket ride on the shaft. Basically the whole thing is driving me nuts from #1. the left bellcrank and #2. the outer select lever.
-both of these rods to the control shaft on the steering column.

I'm putting this together from boxes of parts and the manuals are not really helping.

any assistance would be appreciated.
regards, LLee

So you have this diagram (from Specter's website)?

Thanks yes, and the hayes and the toyota book.

on the end of "M' is the the selecter rod -

but where does rod to the bellcrank bolt up?

Ok I am now quite positive its on the end of "P"
the ball joint is hidden from the perspective of the pic.
(hidden in the two other manuals as well)

My problem was that on my linkage theres a fork with a pin/cotter pin and the fork does not fit on "P"

does anyone know about how long that rod should be?
("P" to bellcrank) mine's about 9" or so.

I am hoping I dont have a PTO linkage on here by mistake.

I sure would like to know before I go to the
bench grinder to make it fit.

thanks, take it easy dudes.
