Currently i am running the Vias unit in my LC and running my XM Satellite through the OEM nav, but i want to also run my Ipod as well. To switch to the XM i have to hit the DVD button twice and it toggles between my DVD and XM. I know Vias makes a unit that gives you two inputs but can i run both? Can i push it a third time and it go to my ipod?

has anyone done this?

I'd suggest calling Vias and asking them, but the last time I talked to them they weren't even sure their unit working in the 100, despite it saying it did on their site. (And I knew from 'mud that it did, obviously.)

If you decide you want to go to a three-input unit from your two-input, I'd be interested in buying your old box. I only ever listen to iPod.

I've contacted them with detailed questions in the past at info@vaistech.com and they seemed knowledgeable and helpful about what I can and cannot do. Funny enough back in November '09 while I was still looking into what year/model of the 100 I wanted, I asked them your exact question about whether I'm able to have both satellite and ipod. Here was their response at the time (still worth asking again in case they have updated their product line/capabilities):

"
You can only use both for 2005 and 2006 model. For 2004 you can only
use one or the other.

For XM you can use SL2xMT with CNP2000 tuner and for iPod you use
SL2i-UP. Once again, it can only be done for 2005 and up models.

You can "daisy chain" multiple VAIS units on one NAV head unit.

FYI, go to the VAIS forums and PM VAIS directly. I've had very good luck doing this with my questions. They usually answer within 12-24 hours.
