Millermatic 210 for sale in Oregon

This is from the Hobart Welder's web site.. This welder is in great condition and would be great to have
for your home or shop. User, "DAN" is quite the welder.

For Sale: MM 210
As the title states, I am putting my 2002 MM 210 up for sale. Considering the unit is in real good condition, I feel $850 is a fair asking price. I am only interested in selling to a local buyer. I live in Stayton, Oregon, which is about 15 miles East of Salem.

The unit is currently at my Dad's so I can't provide any pictures of it today. I might have time to take a couple tomorrow though.

The issue though, turned out being an electrical connection in the input power line, that my Dad had hidden on me. Fixed this issue, and now the unit is working great again. As long as I live in a place that allows me to keep it around, and use it, as nice running as my 210 is, I suspect I'll have it until it dies.
Maybe the welder died?

I think he is going to buy a Hobart Handler 210 for portability. He has a Esab Migmaster 250 for thick stuff.
Nothing wrong with the MM210. Dan takes very good care of his welders. I would not be surprised if his MM210 looked brand new.

Great price for this welder though. I think I paid $1400 with shipping for the same one.

That wouldn't surprise me either. Dan's a hard guy to figure out, at least in that forum. He's an absolutely awesome weldor yet he keeps working his $8 per hour job in that potato chip factory where he only seems to weld when the other guys working there aren't up to some special need. Lives in a trailer with welders in the carport yet buys them and sells them, one or another, about every two months always at a loss.

He's had the 210 through some four others so it must be some kinda arc he's getting from the Esab for him to let it go. Does it have an inductance knob?

Dan is a real nice and knows his stuff. His ESAB migmaster 250 does not have inductance control. He likes it for the power (260+ amp machine), the arc quality, and does lots of spray transfer with it. He used to own a MM251, but did not like what he calls, "soft and mushy" arc so he sold it and got his Esab. People say the Migmaster 250's arc is like a Millermatic 200. I believe you have to go to a Migmaster 260 to get the inductance control.

If he did not like the MM210, I have no doubt that it would have been sold a long time ago. I believe it may be the "oldest" welder in his fleet.

Is the millermatic 210 still available? How much to ship to Southern California? Is it worth it you think?

I think it is still available, but he does not want to ship. Do you know anyone in that area that could pick it up for you?
