Viper 12000? Anyone know anything about it?

Is it just uber junk or what? I figured it was just another chinese piece of junk but figured I would get some opinions...

Viper 12000LB Recovery Winch 6.0HP SYNTH & 2 Receiver:eBay Motors (item 300350711004 end time Sep-27-09 00:54:04 PDT)

Hell it comes with some pretty good stuff. Wireless remote, snatchblock, reciever cradle, syntheic line (name brand), and some other goodies...

Looks ALOT like the Chinese winches that T-Max was selling.

The only reviews I could find on google were for ATVs and they were all good. But a winch for a 4 wheeler and a winch for a heavy ass truck are a big difference.

Hi Guys,
Just working on becoming sponsors of the site....great site by the way. We are launching into the 4x4 recovery world with a full lineup of recovery winches (CLASSIC, MAX, and ELITE series) from 8k-16,500k.

I can't promote anything now because we are not yet sponsors (we just became sponsors of the FJ Crusier Forum.....hopefully it will work out here too.) I can tell you that our winches certainly are not junk. We have worked very hard with our American techs as well as our top-notch China techs to create what will hopefully prove to be an outstanding series of winches. We are not just some business that buys some from China and puts it on our shelves.

As proof of our commitment to quality, we have stuck with the patented AMSTEEL-BLUE cable instead of the crappy knock-off stuff (I've had the China version in my hands....was not impressed.) BTW....all winches are made overseas now....my buddy just went past the WARN facility over there too....there is a lot of junk coming from China, but there can be some really good stuff too if the QC is done right (and we believe we have accomplished that since we have our own American techs.)

If our ATV/UTV lineup is any indication, I hope we can have some good partnerships in this. But enough said....again, since we are not yet sponsors, I don't want to say too much. Just glad to see some feedback on the boards and looking forward to working with you in the future. Have a good weekend.
