If it wasn't for bad luck

So the last time I took the forty out I split the transfer case in half! Any Ideas I'm running a sm420 and three speed T-case. I need to go through the tranny,it jumps out of second under power. I'm hoping just syncros.....now for the T-case do the case savers work or will this be an ongoing thing? Would it help to put a advaced adapters type rear mount in. I'm looking for Ideas since it is going to be awhile be for I can get at it.............The tuck is still on the trailer since the last outing and I seem to have broke my ankle........
