I am looking in or near seattle. i don't know what they're worth, but I have some parts i could trade, or partial trade. I am also am accomlished landscaper, and can do trade work for gears and fabrication work, etc.

| No real help here, but...What tire are you going to run?
I ran 4.88 w/ 33's and they are too deep for daily driving. You could probably find some FJ-62 3rds (w/4.11's) ready to drop in.
If you are going 35" or larger, then the 4.88's are well worth it!

| good feedback, i do run 33's and guess I should go for 4.11's
in that case I am looking for 4.11 gears. I have a 4 speed manual from a 79 fj40 I could trade, not sure if value equivalent or not...

| Dazza-Just an idea if you want cheap and good. Rear 80 series ring and pinion sets are 4.10. They fit in traditional Cruiser differentials just fine. Lots of 80 series trucks have gone to lower gearing for bigger tires. I have seen the R&P sets as low as $50. I would ask around your pals with modded 80 series, you can bet there are a bunch of these gears floating around.
