My wife and I are taking our new-to-us LX450 out to the Canyonlands in March with some friends. We are wondering if anyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area might have a safari rack either for sale or "for borrow". We're pretty tight on cash right now and can't take the hit of outfitting the truck with too much before the trip. I know it's a strange request, but, if you've got one that you won't be using for the first half of March, we'd love to rent it from you - name your price!

You can get a roof rack just to hold cargo like light stuff under about 200 pounds for 100$. www.discount-ramps.com has them for that cheap. They attatch to the factory rack though they are not gutter mount.
