All 40 Series wheels are 6 on 5.5, same as the 60 series. Any of the disc-brake 40 series steel wheels will fit your cruiser, as well as the steelies from 80-85 Toyota mini trucks...

Weird

It's cool to see another pic of my rig prior to my owning it. That first pic of the tan one is Ingrid while Ige still owned it. Never saw it with those rims on before. here is an updated photo.
With the rear wheel well rust repaired.

Are the steelies from the mini-trucks split rims?

Also, I can't remember who did it, but someone had steel rims made at Stockton Wheel ?? Anybody have a link to that? I can't find it. I like the steel rim look, too, and would like to get some.

I've got a 4 of those rims off of an FJ-40. I am not so sure they will fit the FJ-60 front axle. They have a set of 31X10.50 Winston Winner tires on them. Is this what you are looking for? If you are PM me.

stockton they are brand new ,made to your specifications, but you expect around $ 125.00 ea plus shipping. its great cos if you want it in 16¨ or 15 they made it, but in my case i just use my fj60 on weeekends ,not plan to spend @ 600.00 just on rims, but its a second choice.
aseif007 i will pm tonight,i´m in florida,u r in cali. i will need an estimate for shipping, but yours rims looks good for my expedition type fj60..thanks

Those aren't split rims.

The problem you are going to have is stock 40 series disc brake wheels (as above) are only 5.5" wide so unless you are running a 9.5" wide or narrower tire it is going to suck. It will be a real PITA to mount them and they won't wear decent. I believe the 16" ones were 6" wide but they didn't come on anything in the US so they are going to be tough to find.

Bolton wheels widens them as does Stockton. I've heard mixed reports on widening the stock Cruiser wheels. Some have issues with leaking. Some have issues with the wheel staying true. Personally, I have issues with the cost.

The rims in the picture above have 31X10.50s on them. They were not very hard to get on, I did it with my buddy in his shop. I think these rims originally came off of an FJ-40 with drum brakes. I had them on my FJ-60 but I think the backspacing may not be correct.

The backspacing is correct. 3.5" backspacing which is what both 40s and 60s used throughout the duration. If they were originally off a drum brake 40 they wouldn't work on a disc brake Cruiser. The rivets hit the calipers. The later model ones did not use rivets. A 10.50 wide section width tire is pretty big for a 5.5" wide rim. Sounds like you got lucky on getting them on. Wear will definitely be an issue though as the tire will tend to crown. 60 series wheels and the late model 40 wagon type wheels were 15x6s. Still a pretty narrow rim for a wider tire.
