That grip panel looks good! The color matches really well and the plastic isn't too shiny for the coating on the frame.

So, anybody wanna trade a NIB slick/cooking panel for the next grippy/pup friendly panel that Kevin can cook up?
Damn, and there I was thinking I'd be clever & get in my order early.
Another lock option might be Yakima's SKS lock-cores... then the key could unlock most alla da toys.

You waited so long to install your lid that now you don't even want it!?!

We can work something out CJ, I could make a copy of your lid out of the new material, or we could do an exchange if needed.
We will get the doberdogs sorted out.

Yeah, it is a bit shinier that the regular plastic, seems to be because there are more surfaces to catch the light. With the regular stuff one of the things that I have been trying to do was keep all the blacks the same, and have the same general sheen overall. The new grip stuff does not have quite the same continuity, but I am probably the only one who would be bothered by it.

Ducks Excellent! Can't wait to get mine in. I'm saving my pennies for the quarter panels next.

I'll get that one wrapped up and shipped out, should leave on Monday.

Hey Dan,
Your are super close now, and being excited about it is enough to move up the 80 list for me at this point.
The top of that list has been moving way too slow, I have been waiting a long time for some to get back to me and I have way more open contacts on there than I like.
This goes for anybody else that is right near the top as well: but Dan, why don't you email me the info on what you would like on your lid, the latch options and if you want grip plastic and I will get moving on it, thanks for being patient.

Sounds like you need to offer an integrated coffee grinder to get things going.

As someone who is way down on the list, the more people that don't answer you back, the faster I get my tailgate lid

Back now!
And back to work, the lists on the first page show a pretty accurate tally of where everything sits.
Still a long way to go.....

Hi there,
Do you have an approximate ETA for the 100 series tail gate storage?
Been thinking something like this would be great, then came across your website.
Thank you.

Well, I've been "working" on that for awhile, It's going well, just need to get the project wrapped up.
How about I say in the Spring?
Having cut a 100 tailgate apart, I will say that they are by far the nicest tailgate I've ever seen, the amount of engineering in that one little part is incredible.
Makes me kinda nervous about changing it.

I know what you mean, yet storage is seriously lacking in the 100 and the carpet hatch cover is far from convenient if you spend anytime in dirt or snow. The good thing is that there is alot of usable space in there it seems.
I'm assuming your tailgate storage units are 'somewhat' sealed from water? I slide skis in and out of there 5-7 a week in the winter and would not want water to build up in the cubby.
BTW, the 60 series you have featured on your website is amazing. Form meets function. Love it.
