| Sept 13 - Naches 696 This should give everyone enough time to work though scheduling challenges and join us.
I'll probably pull my trailer up Friday afternoon and camp at Crow Creek or somewhere near there. Wheel all day Saturday, camp or head home Saturday night.
Trail is listed as "More Difficult" by the forest service, I would rate it at a 2.5 with one or two areas possibly a 3.0 depending on winter storm damage. There are a few pucker areas in regards to drivers side 300'+ cliffs with about six or so feet to spare. The view makes up for it.
Maybe we can work through the details for a potluck dinner Saturday Evening.
Hope a handful of you guys can make it! |

| I'm not a member of your club, but am a member of TLCA? Any chance I could tag along? Missed McGrew due to a slow tranny/transfer rebuild, but should be done soon. Would love to do Naches.

| Hi, I'm a member of Raincountry Cruisers and our club is making a trip over to Naches this weekend! (wish you could join us) were going to run Kaner, shoestring, funny rocks, etc... Our two clubs need to hook up for a run? We can't make the 13th because were going down to Cruise the Woods on the 27th, Maybe a Snow run later on this year? |

| I have a new high pitched grinding noise coming from my front end and if I can't get it fixed by the 16th there is no way I'm going to risk getting stuck up in Naches do to a known mechanical problem. |

| Bad news - Toyota can't get me in for repairs until Monday morning.
Good news - Wheel bearings are covered under power train warranty!
I'm officially not going to make this run... There are a handful of FJ Cruisers from the blue forum that are going, so if any of you still want to go check out this thread - Sept 13 - TLCA SSC - Naches 696 - Page 3 - Toyota FJ Cruiser Forum
"If you wouldn't mind lettting the guys there know couple of us are coming up that would be Kewl.
I'll be up on Friday at Crows Creek to find a camp site CB channel 12 and gonna meet the FJ folks near the entrance to Little Naches Rd at noon on CB channel 13.
Sucks you won't be there, glad its covered!!!!! Next time!
Thx
Dave" |
