New to the PNW looking for trails
Hello everyone, I just moved to the Lacey/Olympia area and I am looking for some trails to ride. I am not into big nasty trails that cause a lot of damage, just looking for some nice forest/logging roads or other fun trails. Anyone have an maps/links/directions for trails? Thanks

If your new to the area, start by cruising Capital Forest. It is close and offers some nice views of the areas. This area is only logging roads. All trails are for ATV/Horse/foot traffic. You can get a map of the area from the State Department of Natural Resources. Tahuya State forest is another popular area and is about an hour north/northwest outside of Belfair.

I've learned by just joining as many of the local forums that I could and looking for runs that are posted, people are pretty good about posting what to expect.

You should join us for the Capitol Forest clean up on the 6th, you will be able to meet a lot of local folks and get a chance to take your new FJ on some DNR forest roads.
