OME install this weekend...
Ordered my OME Med/Med suspension today from MetalTech! I will finally be getting my ARB bumper installed!
Winch, All Pro lower control arm links, and Ham Radio probably next month.
Any takers on helping me with the install? I'm a mechanical noob so I can use all the help I can get. We were originally going to head to the Oregon Coast this weekend (took Friday & Monday off too) but the weather looks like it is going to be wet & cold so we canceled, that means I have four days to install my lift, front bumper and lights. Any takers on some assistance?
I might even begin tomorrow night after I pick up the lift from ARB will call in Renton. I am in need of some spring compressors to get those struts on, anyone have some I can borrow? If not I can go pickup some cheapo's at HF or CRAPs.

Oly,
Shoot me an e-mail ( northwesttuttle@msn.com) with your info. I will be heading out to Spokane after work on Friday but I still do not know if I will be working Monday or not. If you are still needing assistance, let me know.
As for the spring compressor, IMO you should never buy cheap stuff. Instead rent a set from Schuck's or similar parts warehouse.
I am mechanically inclined but have never worked on a Toyota let alone an LC but hey you have to start sometime. I am so new to these that I am still waiting for my repair manual to come in the mail.
Glen

Nope, probably should have after looking at those pics...
I will be taking it off to install a winch in a few weeks so I'll do then.

Brian, that looks GREAT! I am getting some ARB envy!
Maybe I need to get out and thrash the FJ80 some more so I can justify spending the money on my FJ!

Looks good Brian. May have missed it, but what tires are you going to run?

I'm on Nitto Terra Grappler AT 265/70/17's right now, I would like to find some 16" wheels that will fit my over sized Tundra discs & calipers.
Once the wheels are located I will probably go with the Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains.
or the new BFG M/T's due out the end of September.
