My name is Don and I am located in Mount Vernon. I drive a '70 FJ-40 which has a 350, SM-465, saginaw ps, disc brakes, lockrite and 33 MTs.

I just wanted to get the word out that Rain Country Cruisers is still around. We currently have members spread out between Marysville, Bellingham, Oak Harbor and SW. We have recently been getting more active and adding wagons as well. We plan to apply for TLCA chapter status soon.

If you are interested in a family oriented club that is located in the north sound, swing on by and check us out. We meet at the Round Table Pizza, in Mount Vernon, at 7:30 PM on the first Wednesday of the month.

Hi, I'm Nick, I'm new to the PNW forum but have been hanging out on mud since I picked up my 1989 62 last fall.

Wheeled it for the first time at Tahuya last weekend on flat springs and bald 31" a/t's and didn't get stuck once! I need to push ahead with modifying the suspension and upgrading the tires ASAP; I have a feeling I'm going to want to be on the trails every Saturday from here on in.

I live in an apartment in Seattle and have zero room to work on my rig. I'm not opposed to paying somebody else for their time and expertise, though, so I can wheel successfully. Looking for Toyota-centric shops that can install new suspension/ hy-steer and get my cruiser flexing! Also on the lookout for fab guys who can help me weld up some new front and rear fenders.

Looking forward to any cruiser happenings in the near future!

Wild West Offroad or Bullington Speed and Custom are both local experts who I would trust 110% to work on my trucks--and in fact have had both do it!

Bullington Speed and Custom

Wild West Off Road

I can die happy, but not yet

At last, people who own cruisers in eastern washout. I am Magoo, own a 69 cruiser I bought almost a 8 months ago and already i have no more life savings (almost). My life consists of work and family time, but the vife has yet to understand that the cruiser is our new child, and doesn't laugh when i joke about her giving birth to it.

I am always looking for a good converstation boot cruisers or wrenches in general, and have an itch to spend money cause you can spend hard currency in hell. Hit me up if you live near spokane and have any FJ60 knuckles or steering gear. Or some hysteer for those same knuckles. Or some tubing for a cage. Or Scout PS boxes, or 60 axles, or ... you get the point.

airborne

Oh yeah and i homebrew...

69 FJ40 hailing out of Spokane

Hello my name is Bracken and I just picked up a 69 FJ40 about a month ago. I am in the process of doing a full restore but I have my work cut out for me as I am a virgin. Like Scottsire the FJ40 is draining the savings quick. We just had a son born and the running joke is we purchased the FJ40 for him. You think 16 years is enough time to get this thing back on its feet for young Rowe to hit the hills? Anyway I am new to the Spokane area and am always looking for fellow enthusiast. Hit me up and maybe we can grab a beer or do some wheeling when I get this thing back together.

Got Carbon? Just pulled the top end off and found the head to be cracked. There goes the piggy bank.
