Stuck Stories

I noticed that there wasnt a local thread on stories about being stuck. I know that most of us have been in a sticky situation one time or another. So I am starting this thread hoping all of you will post a story with some pictures.

Stuck in the mud

All right I will start things off.

My mother in law is in town so I decided to grab my boys and go find some mud. We headed out to a local spot and made a few passes in some muholes. I ended up getting high centered in a fairly shallow hole. Unfortunatly all I had was 6" bottle jack to aid in getting us out. As I was digging us out a maroon 4runner came by. i flagged them down and asked if they would pull me out. I figured since this guy had a toyota he would be more than happy to help. Boy I was wrong, the little pansie that was driving said that he had to get home or his mom would be mad. I gave him the thumbs up and muttering obcenities under my breath as him and his boyfriend sped away.

Anyways, I tried to dig the cruiser out but no success. So I called the wife and asked her to buy me a bumper jack. I waited for her to get there and to my suprise she showed up with a brand new Hi Lift X-treme jack from GI Joes (now called Joes). She took the boys with her and I started using the my new toy. As soon as i got the jack in place A guy came up behind me and asked if I needed a tow. I was hesitant becuase I wanted ti use my new jack, but I agreed to let him help. He walked to his rig and drove to were I was. He had a new V8 Toyota Sequoia. I hooked up bothe vehicles, got in mine and gave a hand signal and he began to pull me out. He pulled me all the way to the road. We jumped out and made some small talk for a minute, I told him thanks several times and then he drove away. I got back in my cruiser then contemplated going back thru 1 more time. Then decided against it and drove home. Check out my pics. Oh and I realize this isnt that bad, but I was stuck for about 2 hours. So i decided to share.

home.
Buried!

Dug this with a stick.
