BJ40 - 3B for sale - Vancouver, BC

1978 BJ40 diesel landcruiser, B engine gone! 3B installed from 4 wheel Auto. good compression good power.
-new HD clutch
-new motor mounts
-remachined flywheel
-new exhaust
-Disk brakes (front), new rotors & calipers & pads, new drums and shoes (rear)
-new brake lines (steel and flexible)
-new extended axle breather kits
-new belton 2 1/2" lift suspension (one spring removed from rear due to stiffness), new greasable shackles, new shocks.
-set of 5 new 16" black rock crawler wheels includes 285/75/R16 BFG A/T K/O - not shown, currently these are on my 80 series daily driver and are 1 year old with about 15,000 miles on them (tires shown are front Michelen Desert dueler A/T @ 50%, rear BFG AT KO 265/70/R16 @ 75%)
-Fresh military paint (desert dune)
-new steel fenders
-new tail lites
-new fibreglass taillight protectors (mount on the inside of wheel well to protect back of tail lights from mud, rocks and water)
-new turn signals & marker lights
-new bumperettes
-new rear emblems and pads
-new shift boots transmission and tcase
-new seatbelts
-new bikini top
-some new dash pads
-majority of nuts/bolts washers stainless steel
-original front seats reupholstered in high grade marine vinyl
-original cage
-front end rebuilt
-new rear bump stops
-new fuel sending unit & flex fuel line
-fuel tank cleaned and relined.
-factory skid plates.

Good looking solid truck, no body rust, minimal surface rust on frame in some areas, but nothing serious.
300,000 km on original truck & chassis, 220,000 km on 3B engine.
original 4 speed manual transmission. shifts excellent and shifts into low great.

Mostly original. Have receipts.
might be able to source original hard top and doors from PO, but no comment on condition of either, expect standard rust on door bottoms and bolt chanels of top
Needs some minor finishing pieces like mirrors & wiper motor, heater does not work, no power steering, no stereo, no cooling fan.

$9,000.00 cdn takes it with set of 5 33" BFG A/Ts or $8,000.00 with with tires shown.

Will do partial trade for M101 trailer also.

might be able to get original hard top and hard doors from PO but they will be in rough shape. I haven't actually seen them myself but can assume standard rust/wroat issues on both... want me to enquire?
where are you located?

tires shown are rear BFG A/T 265/70/R16 (75%), front Michelen or Bridgestone Desert Dueler A/T 50% no spare.
tires intended for sale (currently on 80 series daily driver) 1 year old BFG A/T KO 285/75/R16 set of 5.
