1984 BJ42 Original Paint for sale

1984 BJ42 3B diesel, 5spd H55, power steering, power disc brakes. Factory winter kit with block heater, rad shroud and rear heater. Factory stock except for upgraded suspension with greasable shackles.

Original Tan paint from Victoria BC to Calgary last year where engine was completely rebuilt with a new Toyota head, pistons, sleeves, reground cam, new bearings the lot. All new brakes, old man emu suspension, 24V factory winch. New clutch etc.

I drove the truck to southern Ontario last summer and it has been used lightly since and stored during the winter.

There is some rust on the body but the frame is perfect. It has never seen an eastern witner on the road and is ready to use now. Good condition BFG 33's on steel rims (original rims included).

Reason for sale, don't have the time to wheel since I moved.

It's build date is May 1984 so it can go south without difficulty.

BMW R75

That's another reason the Cruiser is for sale. Those wartime BMW's are horrendously expesive to restore. Unlike later bikes it has a transmission with 4 spds and reverse and a high/low range. It also has a diff on the bike and another on the sidecar. Lots of expensive gears in Euros!

A couple of years from now, it should be done.

Any interest in the B 42?

Jim
