1968 FJ 40 in Central California $2k
I am selling one of my projects.
1968 FJ40.
The rig has a fibreglass front clip. It has the usual cracks around the headslights. There is a big hole in the top for a hood scoop.
Disc brakes on both axles.
Arrow Auxillery Long range Fuel Tank
Bucket Seats
Unique Roll cage (Old School Con Fer?)
Saginaw Conversion but not power steering. (?)
The rig had a Chevy 350/T400/NP205 combo in it but the previous owner kept it.
Included in this sale is the Chevy 350/T400/NP205 that came out of my 1972 GMC. The engine, tranny and T case worked fine when I pulled it and installed a Cummins.
If you are looking for a fun project that needs assembled or if you live in California and want a pre-smog rig, this is the one for you.
I have the Title in Hand
Rig is located in the Visalia, Ca area.

Battery is in the floorboard firewall on the passenger side.
I don't know why.

Dan, just an FYI on the tank. Not ConFerr. That's an old Arrow tank, the kind MAF used to sell. I have one under my lwb.
GL with the sale.

D,Animal,
Do ya still have this rig for sale? If so, do you have the front clip parts to make it original(bid, fenders, hood)? Luv your 40.5 rig. Very motivating. Do you know of anyone who has a extra cab 45 for sale, or even a 45 cab for sale?
Thanks
Pat

A guy is suppose to come by in the morning (Sat 7/25/09) to look at this and possibly buy it.
I have an FJ40 front Cowl that you can bolt an Aquala 45 or FJ 45 extended cab too. I also have a complete FJ40 tub if you want to make you own FJ 45 looking rig.

They guy was a no show for the 4th time.
I have a hood for it and a trailer full of front fenders. You can take you pick of the fenders or take them all. One set has the outer lip trimmed off and the other set has the upright mounting bracket cut.
