Burned out FJ40
I saw a burned out 1969 FJ40 in San Jose that I thought someone in the area might be interested in at least for the title if not the engine, frame, project, etc.... Here are a couple of pics that I took and I got the guys number if you want to talk to him. Apparently he is asking $800 for it.
Send me an email and I will send you his contact and more photos. David |

Is that a burn hole through the roll cage(driver's side)? Maybe it's just the paint. No way i'd pay $800 for that. I've seen running ones for under that. Is the rear burnt?

I think that was just the remaining padding and not a hole. There was nothing special about the back side and when I looked under, the rear drive shaft was missing plus damaged rear pinion. Apparently the engine was recently rebuilt...not that it is going anywhere.
