I had subscribed to this thread awhile ago. Probably out of 218 views 200 were mine.

Everybody would like to get as much as possible (or at least a fair price) when they're selling, but when the table is turned people try to get a rig as cheap(ly) as possible. I know I do.

So what we might take might not be the same as what we're willing to shell out. I hope I'm making some sense.

I don't know what you meant by "Nobody wants to make a real offer?" whether people have made low-ball offers or not even those. But if it's the latter, people probably don't want to offend you by deviating too much from your asking price.

I can totally agree with that Mot.

I think the impression that I got from reading your first post, with the price, was that you were fairly set on your asking price of $7k because you said that you'll "let it go".

Yeah I could see that too but MUD rules are that I need to specify a price and said so to that effect so that people would undertsand I wanted offfers, maybe I did'nt do a good enough job.
