1993 FZJ-80 Locked $6,000

Rust free 1993 FZJ-80 with 205k miles. Factory lockers all around. Original engine runs well and has been my daily driver for the past 25k miles.

Good stuff:

- New brake rotors, calipers and fluid
- 33" BFG's 50% tread
- Engine/transmission runs strong with no hesitation.
- Always well maintained and serviced.
- Paint is in good condition.
- Previous owners had never taken it offroad, only used to commute, and religiously maintained.
- No rust.
- Towing package and 3rd row seats.
- Center Diff Lock switch installed. All lockers work well. Front locker sensor continues to blink on the dash, but is obviously locked.

Bad stuff:

- Leaks oil from the oil pump cover, bottom front of the engine. I put in a quart of oil every 700 miles to compensate. Quarter sized drop on the driveway at night.
- Fender flares, running boards, and roof rack removed. I have the fenders and hardware still, passenger rear fender flare damaged.
- Scrape and minor body damage on passenger rear quarter panel.
- CD player doesn't work.
- Leather has a tear in the drivers side seat. Showing some wear on all other seats.
- Front and rear bumpers have some damage.

Very solid truck. I purchased it with 175k on it, and used it as a daily driver, with occasional offroad trips. I'm selling because I purchased a new pickup, and don't have the room for another truck.

Is the oil pump on those comparable to a 22R'E's?.....I.E remove the (duh belts &) pulley and install the seal?

AND BUMP for a SWEET rig and price!....had to put some tech in dare

I don't know...there is a good writeup of how to do it in the 80 section FAQ. From what I've read it sounds similar.

Original head gasket would be my only concern. Doesn't show any sign of going though right now. Runs strong on the freeway still.

Sold off the Revos. Now has 4 285/75 BFG A/T's with 13/32" of tread left. Looks like about 50% wear. Full size spare, but does not match.

The BFG's have on average 12/32" of tread left. The spare is matching size, but well worn. The wheels on there are from the truck I swapped tires with, a bit more corrosion on them, the ones pictured are the worst two. Lots more pics in the flickr gallery.

The white squares around the body holes are some leftover gunk from some duct tape I used to temporarily cover them up while I washed it. There's more on the roof rack holes. It comes off....

I haven't had the time to permanently fix these yet.
