1987 land cruiser fj60 in Boston (rust free TX vehicle)

great land cruiser, originally from texas, brought it over in hope to built it up but no time. 137k, very minor surface rust underbody. the body is clean, not a spec of rust, just a couple of small dents.

lots of maintenance history. ac runs cold. i also have a replacement carb, or needs the current one rebuilt. windshield has a crack, i will replace it before selling.

someone buy this!! I grew up in Mass, lived in Boston...save this cruiser.

No affiliation...but bumping for a great looking cruiser. FWIW...I purchased mine in that condition (ZERO rust, etc) with no motor for not much less that that.

if i dont sell by the time spring comes around, ill want to fix it up and keep it. i cant believe only 1 local person has come to look at it so far which turned out to be a tire kicker.

had some time and checked the fcs, its definitely clicking, so i dont think its the fcs. it seems to run at over 1500 rpm with the choke on the 1,2 setting, sputters with the choke off and dies. im thinking the carb needs a rebuild.

pulling the carb, looks like it needs a rebuild. this puppy is not for sale anymore, after i fix it up, i might put it back up but not for this price.

back up for sale. been too busy with work and travel. id like to sell as it is, it runs but needs a carb rebuild. i also have a rebuilt carb that i bought from a ih8mud forum member, its included.

it runs, it just doesnt idle with the foot off the accelerator except when the AC is on.
