new car forces sale. car was garage kept up until two years ago, we are the second owner, have owned it for past two years. many new parts, just serviced, recent inspection, etc. etc. AMAZING car, we do NOT want to get rid of it.

-1998 L wagon, white
-all original
-5 speed, 66k miles
-sunroof/moonroof, roofrack -- rare!
-tan interior
-JVC headunit, tape/CD
-2003 WRX rims, great shape, with Goodyear Ultragrip GT-HR, good condition
door ding passenger side (nickel sized), 2 or 3 stone nicks, and drivers front door arm rest worn. thats it! AMAZING condition besides these few cosmetic ones.
we must thin the herd, we have 3 subaru wagons now, upgrading this one!!

"L' stands for 'Limited" doesn't it?

Didn't the limited package include leather upholstery?

I have a '98 Outback Limited with 43,000 miles and it came with leather...is why I asked.

the Limited was part of the Legacy line, as far as i know. L in the Impreza line is just the normal line of cars, wagons, etc.

In subarus Imprezas, there's the Impreza Outback Sport, which had hoodscoops, an ungly interior, and i think a sportier clutch, then there's the L line, which didnt have hoodscoops, had a tan or sometimes grey interior, and had a normal clutch, and lastly there's 'the Brighton, which is base model with the same clutch as the L.
i have an OBS, this is my dad's car. its a nicer with the sunroof.

No. Just a designation, like Honda=EX, the L is more of a base model.

Great looking car. Good price. In Salt Lake, it would be gone already...
