April run
So, any plan(s) for April run guys? I know this may be a little early to think about it but I thought I'd throw it out there. I know the swap meet is coming up on the 2nd week. I was hoping if we could run paragon this time. so what do ya'll think? Any other ideas?

Check w/Appalachian - I believe they're planning something for the 4/1/06 weekend. If my knee is ok, I'm game.

At the bottom of this page, click on Forum Jump and select PA- Appalachian Land Cruiser Club
And how do you make that hypertext link?

Sorry Dan, I got drifted off to a wrong web site . Well, looks like those guys at PA are still not sure whether they want 4/1 or 4/15. 4/15 is out for us anyway. And Paragon is a HIKE for me although I could do it. So, I propose we do Rausch Creek AGAIN on the 8th of April. Other optional dates would be 22nd and 29th (for me). I am up for any or any two of those dates. There are other fun trails in RC that I haven't been before and would like to explore. We could make it a club (camping) run or any one and every one else run. I don't mind being the organizer if no one else is up for it. So please post up your choice(s) so we can all head back up there and have some fun again . RC Calender has another group for the 8th but we can be added in any time. Again, I can call Lynn and start the process if no one else can. So what say you?
Dan, fix your knee. OR at least this should give you enough time to fix your knee . If not, we should have enough tree branches around to help you lean on .

How do you make that hypertext link? Where one word that you click on takes you to another page?
I'm ok with either date that the majority posts for, I'm also happy to do a day ride as I did last time. I support the Rausch selection, especially since Paragon has gone so liability paranoid. Rausch is so much easier to deal with. No "classes" to attend. Camping right in the park.
Plus, they now have a forum on their site for updates, like new trails and trail changes, etc.

Arright. This is what you do:
1. Click on "Post Reply"
2. Click on the icon.
3. Cut & paste or type in your hyper link in the window.
4. Click "OK".
5. A section in your link will be high lighted automatically. You can add your "one word" in that high lighted potion. The syntax is like this: [ URL ]="http://Dan'sWebBlog.com"]Dan types his own word here[ /URL ] (without the spaces in between [ and URL and ]).
6. Preview/Submit you post.
Now if this doesn't make any sense, contact Micrsoft...
...no just kidding Dan

Ross's wife just spend a few days riding along at the Round Up and will have spent another couple days riding back from Texas. I'll be surprised if she sets foot in his truck again for weeks!!

Yeah, I saw that. That's why I went for a second opinion:

You gotta remember, these are the only people that can be wrong in their jobs and get paid, substantially .

To be fair, I'm actually National Marine Fisheries Service, under NOAA. As you know, the Weather Service is also under NOAA. You'd think that I could get a NOAA weather radio at cost, but it doesn't work that way...
That erh.noaa url is what a lot of the forecasters use for their data.
Anyway, yeah, I'm up for wheeling.

I wasn't doubting your expertise Dan , I just wanted the weather to get better so we could go wheelin . And yes, you should get one off those NOAA radio.
Well pick a date, seems like the VA guys got better things to do than wheelin' this month .
