Sup guys sry aint been around much. Ive moved junked the cruiser got a k5 blazer now. still working some bugs out on it . but its taken me to cape hatteras wva pa va so far . So anyone been down gw lately hows the trails. Thinking of going down next weekend and camping out near one the resivore lakes . and do some wheeling while im up there maybe some fishing. Hows the bears been this year?

I went over Memorial Day weekend - Dictum was pretty good, but apparently Salt Shed is closed :(

salt shed closed? how come why when this happen. Whats the name of the other trails further up the road from salt shed on the left side. u turn on the trals theres a couple campsits right there . Then u cross the creek. Is that one still open im looking to do some camping this weekend

yep, the salt shed area is closed along with several of the other intertwined trails down along the river. That area is acutally owned by the city of Harrisonburg and is the water intake for the city water system. After several meetings, they decided to close it down due to concerns with the public water system. sucks, but such is life.

anyone want to chip in and by some property that joins mine?
