I never seem to make the darn meetings! One of these times I will make it. I had hoped to be there to ask some questions. If you don't mind I'm gonna do that here instead....

I am planning a trip to Moab this May and would love any input/advice about the trip and the trails out there. One of my good friends is in charge of a UTV rally in Moab, so another friend and I have decided to drive out and take our ATV's to join in the fun. Of course I offered to drive my LX so I can get some full-size wheelin in. I have never been to Moab. Will have to go by way of Nashville to pick up my buddy and his ATV. So any thoughts? How many days does it normally take to drive out? Any trail recommendations?

Sorry for such a late response. I just got back from a much needed vacation in Puerto Rico. Ah......

Here is the website for the event that my friend is planning: UTV Rally UTV Events Moab UTV Rally Side by Side Rally Side x Side Rally Side by Side Events Side x Side Events SxS Rally SxS Events The dates for the rally are May 13-16. I am planning on leaving Thursday May 7th, heading to Nashville, TN to pick up my buddy. He has to work that Friday, so we will be all packed up and start making tracks Friday night when he gets off work. We hope to make it to Moab either really late Saturday or sometime early Sunday. Of course we are going to team up on the driving, and I think we will stop somewhere late Friday to catch some ZZZ's I have never done this trip so I may be way wrong on how long to expect it to take. We are going to help our friend out with the rally mostly on Tuesday (all the last minute stuff before folks really start to arrive). Other than that though, we hope to have most of the days free to ride our ATV's and take the LX out. This trip is gonna be mostly about riding ATV's because we are joining the UTV rally. Also, my LX will be the only fullsize in our group, so I'm not sure how secure I'm gonna feel about wheelin it in an unknown area with no one else for help. With that being said, I do plan on getting it on some trails and would love any company

We will pack up and head home either sometime Friday evening or really early Saturday. I guess we will have a better idea of that after the drive out. My friend will have to be back at work the following Monday, so we just have to back in Nashville by Sunday the 17th.

That's what I know as of now. I would love any ideas/advice. And of course you all should take off work and join me.
