Charity Car Wash - Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

This is the third year Jen and I have been raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our goal this year is 10k!

We're having a car was this weekend. We got a few local businesses to pitch in; Convenience Car Care will host the car wash; Hooters in Chantilly, providing car washers/sign holders; Signs By Tomorrow in Springfield (Blummel), providing signage; and the National Capital Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America, promoting the event and matching donations up to $500.

So come on out to Manassas on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Convenience Car Care (directions below)
9145 Centreville Rd
Manassas, VA 22010

If you can’t make it to Manassas for the car wash, but would like to support Team Tom, you can visit our Web page ( http://www.active.com/donate/ltnAlexan/2290_jennkea ) and make a donation online.

For more information about the July 19 car wash or other Leukemia and Lymphoma fundraising efforts send me a email, jkeating7@cox.net

Directions: Convenience Car Care is located behind the Bloom grocery store at Rt. 28 and Sudley Rd (see the antique fire truck). From I-66, take Rte 28 South (exit 53A) and follow for 6.7 miles to the Bloom store on the left, just before Old Town Manassas. Convenience Car Care is a stand-alone building behind Bloom. You'll see the sign with wrench logo as you turn into the parking lot. Welcome to Convenience Car Care

"The monstrous evils of the twentieth century have shown us that the greediest money grubbers are gentle doves compared with money-hating wolves like Lenin, Stalin and Hitler, who in less than three decades killed or maimed nearly a hundred million men, women, and children and brought untold suffering to a large portion of mankind.” Eric Hoffer
