Sure, you can, but you won't be able to watch the actual welding. Perhaps you can borrow someones mask.

Lets start congregating at 2:30 so that we can start the tech day promptly at 3:00
That will give us time to BS a little and introduce one another.
Anyone got a chop saw they can bring along?
Salamander heater? Propane or kerosene?
Any steel drops would be good too.

A big Thanks for the bringing the welder goes out to Tom - ironically, I don't even own a welder right now so we could not have had the tech day with his. We all owe him a beer because we used his gas and wire for the tech day. Next Vienna day, cold one on me for Tom
Was a bit cold outside but great to put some names to faces. You guys put down some nice welds. I was impressed with Felix for stepping in and sticking it.
It was a great diversion for my normal day and I had a great time.

Tom, thanks and don't listen to what John said "about lending your welder". You should lend ME your welder.

Thanks to John, Tom, Ethan, and everyone else that made yesterday happen. I had a great time. I got home and the wife says, "So, does this mean that we have to buy a welder?"
And it was nice to see guys I hadn't seen in months (or years in Mac's case).

Really sorry I had to miss the tech day. Next time I won't guess when days fall and actually use a calendar so I can make it.

Great tech day! learned a lot and it gave me the confidence to know what I should be doing/looking for when I plug in my welder for the first time. the saftey tips and troubleshooting info was excellent. Can't wait to start welding...
John-If you get a chance to post up/e-mail the syllabus, that would be beneficial to me. Thanks again for hosting!

Tech day was great. Cold, but great. Glad to see some new faces and see others that I have met before.
Dave, anytime you want to use the welder come on over and bring Bob, we'll see what we can burn up Sorry, flashbacks. Seriously it was an excellent tech day and looking forward to another.

If it wasn't for the nice guy who lent me his auto helmet, I'd still be trying to weld the gentlemen's elbow next to me! Thanks again.

Tractor Supply has welders on sale 10 percent off, you can get a handler 140 for $430! There is a 10 percent coupon that print off the website and bring in to the store. Also works on air compressors.
