Anyone have an automatic car they can lend me?

I'm scheduled for clutch foot surgery in Sept and was hoping that someone would have a ratty, reliable car that they can lend me/lease reasonably while I recouperate in Sept and Oct. Doc won't let me use a clutch during the healing time and I don't own an auto tranny car.

Thanks for your consideration, Dan

Dan, sorry to hear about your foot. Wish I could help, but we have three vehicles, all manuals.

P.S. Please tell me the foot surgery is not related to diabetes.

Thanks. Frankly, it's to fix a broken bone that the first surgeon missed back in '03.

Whew. That's good to know. If the time comes and you need some help in a pinch, just let me know. I live virtually next door and I understand what a pain in the ass is it not being able to use your foot. PM me if you want/need my phone number.

Dan, hope you have a quick recovery. I'd offer up a car but all three of our vehicles are manuals.

Not offer up other member's vehicles..... but is Ross's 62 in the area. He might let you drive it for a bit. I bet its just sitting around waiting for someone to drive it. Just a thought.

Ross, I'm just taking some liberties with your personal belongings while your gone!

I thought Ross's 62 was in North Carolina. Where is it now? Why was I not told? When can I drive it?

Thanks a helluva lot, Brian. I may well take you up on that offer. Hopefully, an offer closer to me will come up. Thanks again.

Does Dan need to treat this 62 as nice as Cam treats his other 62?
