GSMTR Anyone?

OK, GSMTR is only 2 months away; who's going and what do you need to fix on your junk between now and GSMTR? If you've never been to GSMTR you really need to go at least once.

I am looking forward to year 10! I need to figure out my headlight/taillight/electrical issue, rear axle issue, and want to swap on Saginaw steering before heading down.

I am vowing this year not to still be packing the truck at 2AM the night before leaving like usual.

Need to rebuild a motor by then but should have plenty of time.

I want to...and it is about time for me to get my rig in the woods....but I just can't break away for that long right now.

Dave and I are thinking about a shorter run, maybe an overnight to GWNF or maybe Rausch Creek. It is in the pre pre early stages of planning though, we still need to talk about it over beers before it becomes a pre-planning session.

Come join ALCA at Rausch Creek on April 19 and consider it a pre GSMTR warm up run. ALCA usually gets a good group together with groups running everything from greens to reds. I'm hoping to go on the 19th as my GSMTR shake down run and I can always use some company.

I've got too many hobbies...I've got a mountain bike race on the 19th. DOH!

Dave and Craig might be interested though...they are itching to get their rigs out.

Craig, being a world-class musician, is usually busy weekends. Me, I need to do a few "things" before I head off to do any offroading other than my back yard. I'd probably be the ONLY stock FJ40 anyway.

A world-class misician sounds like great camp fire entertainment to me! You won't be the only stocker Dave and we might even get the Schmuckster to lead a green group if we ply him with beer on Friday night.

Since the schmuckster is an officer in the club now he has to be extra nice to the green horns.

Plus he brings donuts in the morning.
Which make him "the man" right off the bat.

You guys should come up. We love having the capital and gotham guys come up to wheel. It's always a good time.
