CAPITAL LAND CRUISER CLUB
MEETING MINUTES
February 6, 2008

Sebastien called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Introductions were made.

Elections were held:

Andrew Lamkin President
Jose Avila Vice President
Jim Ross Secretary
Felix Stump Treasurer

Dues reminder – CLCC dues ($25.00) are due next meeting. May pay using club Pay Pal or bring a check to the next meeting. To be a CLCC member, you also must be a member of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association (TLCA). Bring TLCA number to meeting. Paypal info will be posted on mud and posted to the list.

Tech Days possible projects and dates will be discussed at the next meeting.

Andrew agreed to take control of swap meet organization and delegate work accordingly. Felix Stump may not be available to work the spring swap meet but will remain available to give some advice.

Les Bennet discussed CPR/Wilderness First Aid training possibilities. Dates were established for the following training:

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
March 15th at the Chapter HQ: 8550 Arlington Blvd Fairfax, VA from 9am – 6p for up to 12 students.
Cost of class $64 for CLCC members, $70 for non-members.
Registration deadline: February 28, 2008

Wilderness First Aid Basics
April 12-13th at the Izaak Walton League 707 Conservation Lane Gaithersburg MD 9a – 6p both days for up to 14 students.
Cost of class $50 for CLCC members, $85 for non-members.
Registration deadline: March 20, 2008

Please contact Les directly at lesbennett@cox.netfor reservations. If payment is not received by deadlines, the spot will go to the next in line. Member prices extend to direct family members or significant others.

The classes will be offered again in the fall on:
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: Sept 13, 2008
Wilderness First Aid Basics: Oct 4-5, 2008
