Come Join us : ) 2-16 @ Rausch

As Greg Gaffin said:
BAD RELIGION LYRICS

"Come Join Us"

so you say you gotta know why the world goes 'round
and you can't find the truth in the things you've found
and you're scared shitless 'cuz evil abounds
come and join us

well I heard you were looking for a place to fit in
full of adherent people with the same objective
a family to cling to and call brethren
come and join us

all we want to do is change your mind
all you need to do is close your eyes

so come and join us
come and join us
come and join us

don't you see the trouble that most people are in
and that they just want you for their own advantage
but I swear to you we're different from all of them
come and join us
I can tell you are lookin' for a way to live
where truth is determined by consensus
full of codified arbitrary directives
come and join us
all we want to have is your small mind
turn it into one of our own kind
you can go through life adrift and alone
desperate, desolate, on your own
but we're lookin' for a few more stalwart clones
so come and join us
come and join us
come and join us

we've got spite and dedication as a vehement brew
the world hates us, well we hate them too
but you're exempted of course if you
come and join us
independent, self-contented, revolutionary
intellectual, brave, strong and scholarly
if you're not one of them, you're us already so
come and join us

I couldn't resist feeling a little old school

Come join us for a trailride

Well I'm missing the winter wheeling trip this weekend so now I have something to look forward to. Camping anyone? I know that Dan likes to camp when it snows.

Anyone planning on going on this run? Went to the East Coast pig run and had a really good time last year. Well organized and great people.

I would be in the stocker group just like last time. Any other stockers planning on going?

Can't make this trip. I spoke with Jeff this afternoon; camping with 10" on snow on the ground is too much for an old man like me, even though the forecast for Saturday is sunny and a balmy 30 degrees. ALCA is planning a trip for the third Saturday if each month so maybe late March will be better weather. Remember the snow showers we had last year Dan?

Sorry Bob, not only do I not camp in the snow (or the cold that causes it) anymore, I don't remember the snow showers. Which snow showers would that be? Forgive me if my idea of snow differs from yours, as I spent my childhood in Buffalo and learned to appreciate 2-3 foot snowfalls every night. And yes, I had to walk to school through it for a mile or so.

Dan,

Just a light snow sprinkling in the morning on our last trip to Paragon. What's new with you?

Not much is new with me, Bob. The '40's under wraps till spring... Gotta get my toybox stuff... Pretty much SSDD. Hope the new year finds you all well.

Has Lylia broken in the '45 yet?

Lylia hasn't driven the 45 yet because it's had a few "issues." Those should all be repaired now but Ryan has started on the body work so the 45 is still not her DD.

How are you coming with your Toybox parts collection?

Bob:

I know Ryan loves "rustoration". What will become of the FJC if the 45 becomes the DD? BTW, I've still yet to try the towbar. I'm waiting for warmer weather. Thanks again for letting me borrow it. Hijack over.

You missed it Bob. Had to get winched off another tree by a 40. I'm gonna blame Jeeper Jim tho. Details on the ALCA page. Hope to see you guys soon. Spring is right around the corner.

I saw that you hugged a tree again with the 80. It's time for you to buy a trail rig and quit beating the 80 against the trees.

Geeze, who left the door open and let in the mall wheeler?

Chris, face it, you just can't wheel w/o a '40 along!

Glad you had fun.

I think the way things are going the 80 may be the trail rig. It will be a whole lot more fun without all that sheet metal and glass in the way.

Who would want to go without a 40? Someone needs to bring the winch.
See y'all soon
