Fj45 frame on ebay...

eBay Motors: Toyota Landcruiser FJ45 FRAME 1963 64 65 66 67 68 (item 150195120209 end time Dec-19-07 20:23:42 PST)

Wagon frames are the right size to make a SWB FJ45 - pretty easy to shorten a FJ40 tub.

I'm going to low-ball-bid on this thing. For that matter if anybody is really itching for it I'd be more than happy to transport it back from NY for the cost of fuel on my ramp truck. Outbidding me shouldn't be a problem.

It's calling your name Cahil. Matt is parting out a 60 so there's a source for an engine and tranny. Buy an Aqualu 45 cab, fab a flat bed and you have a wheelin' machine.

Or,

Have Ryan shorten you a FJ40 tub - plenty of cowls around. Do what I set out to do years ago, have him build you a stretch cab FJ45 with some leg room...and a 5x5 trayback...

FJ60 drivetrain axles and all, maybe with 3 to one gears.

Sounds like a great project Cahil...

What could be cuter than a 45? Stumbaugh's suggestion to shorten a 40 tub is the way to go. The 45 is tight for me; even I could use a few more inches in a 45.

WOW !

Actually what I want the frame for is a turbo diesel mock up. I have two '40's parts rigs but instead of ripping them down for a fit this frame would be bunch easier. The rip down is done and let the build up begin.
