Watch this first post. I will update as swap meet evolves...Swap Meet will be Saturday, April 12 or 19th 2008. We are currently looking for a 'project manager' to lead efforts in organizing the swap meet. This DOES NOT mean you need to do everything, but only delegate to others. Please post if you are interested in being the PM, or in helping out in ANY capacity.Felix will put together a list of tasks that need to be completed and dates. This list will be given to a Project Manager to delegate tasks and manage the Swap meet with Felix’s assistance. It was suggested that we might want to keep the event local to DC Metropolitan area since it is the club’s home. Any member that wants to suggest a location must first determine the following:1. Feasibility of hosting the club event there, 2. Point of contact (name and number and email) 3. Take a few pictures to post in this ih8mud thread. DONORS: If you are interested in donating any prizes or have contacts, please let us know. Thank you, Sebastien.

I spoke to the owner of Convenience Car Care in Manassas. He is open to having the event there. Any idea how many spaces we'd want? He was thinking 30.
http://www.conveniencecarcare.com/index.php Here is his site. I'll get some pictures in the next week or so. __________________ '79 FJ40 33" MTRs, 2" OME;' 96 FZJ80 Retro 100% OEM Lockers, CDL, OEM Hand Trottle, OEM Grab Bar, JDM Cooling Fan, OME 851/860, OEM SubTank in process "The monstrous evils of the twentieth century have shown us that the greediest money grubbers are gentle doves compared with money-hating wolves like Lenin, Stalin and Hitler, who in less than three decades killed or maimed nearly a hundred million men, women, and children and brought untold suffering to a large portion of mankind.” Eric Hoffer |

Bull Run Park
Heres the link to shelter reservations.
http://www.nvrpa.org/find_shelters.p...2007&x=41&y=11 If you look at the very bottom you will see the "barn" occupancy up to 600. Site has water parking and two grills. Might be a good alternative if we need a location sheltered from rain. __________________ Sept 75' FJ-40 (bj40v?) 98' Honda SuperHawk 996 (now for sale) 01' BMW R1150GS TLCA #14704 |
