My New 62

Just picked this one up in Baltimore MD last week.

My first 60-series.

1990 FJ-62
DoM: 12/89
193000k miles
Mostly stock, has new MAF exhaust (which leaks so she failed VA safety inspection today, but PASSED emissions...)

Looks pretty clean. Are you planning any upgrades?

First upgrade (done yesterday) was to weld the exhaust sections and eliminate the leaks so I could pass inspection...mission complete.

Next will be shocks I think, but I'm eyeballing an OME lift...

We'll see.

Great color! Looks like it's cherry!

Welcome to the club, you'll love it

Kimohh,

I strongly recomend the OME shocks and Dakar springs with anti-inversion shackles. Go with the "medium" or "heavy" springs if you plan to carry friends and gear. I have a "light" set on my 40 and they are a little too soft. Good Luck

Ditto on the dakars...best thing I've done! After 23 years my stock springs were shot...med/hvy dakars and OME shocks/stabilizer made a huge difference in ride quality.
