stud puller/installer

Anyone have a stud puller/installer that I could borrow? I am trying to put in new manifold bolts.

or is the nut on a nut method equally as effective (for the FJ mind you).

Soak the studs with kroil for a few days. Then install two nuts on a stud and tighten them against each other. Remove stud using the inner nut. If nuts turn, tighten them more. You can also hit the stud with a torch to help break the rust bonds, then reapply Kroil.

Kroil is magic! Don't expect the same results from WD-40, PB Blaster, etc.

I have a gallon of the stuff...

I heard it "werked real good"

so hopefully this will work... i just bought new studs and wahers and nuts from pricey SOR.

hopefully that will be all I need to get this bad boy to pass inspection.

I have a set of stud removing/installing sockets. Will you be at the meeting?
