Cruisers from Down Under
Does anyone have experience importing Land Cruisers from Australia or New Zealand? I've seen a bunch on ebay lately, so I'm curious. I've heard that bringing them into the US from South America is difficult - wondering if the Aussie/Kiwi inports are easier...

Check in the main forum. There are tons of posts on this. I think they ahave to be like 20 year old before they can be imported in to the US. There are a bunch of companies that do this.

I think it also has to be a model that's been previously approved by the DOT as safe by US standards. There are some vendors linked on mud that import cruisers.
