KOH 2010

Hey guys,

They still have not released the dates yet but I have been playing around on mapquest. It is only 2500 miles out there. So only 500 more than Moab. I am toying with the idea of leaving out the weekend before and wheeling mon-thurs, watch the race on Friday and then come Home on Sat. I have wheeled there but not in my rig. It would also be nice to get to some of the more remote places other than what the rental car/truck/suv could handle.

Let me know your thoughts if you might consider this, I know Tim B. mentioned driving, you could do your other trip and tie this into it. Taking the southern route may be less likely to miss the snow ???

I am planing on going just need to decide weither to drive or fly. It is about the same cost to rent a car/buy two plane tickets as it would be to buy fuel for the diesel. But then again wheeling a rental is pretty damn fun too!!

Rob

TIM M and I were talking that if it approached later in the summer towards fall that the Southern leg might be preferred, so this is doable. The northern leg in September will likely see some of the passes and higher elevations impacted by snow and I don't do Alpine survival challenges anymore.
