Holiday Party Time

All,

I wanted to nail down the date for the BBRC Holiday Party this year. As some of you know, it's going to be at my house in New Kent. I know we decided on a date when Fred wouldn't be working, but I cannot find where I wrote this down.

Looking at the work calendar for Fred, he has off on either the weekend of the 1st of December or the 15th of December. Does anybody remember the date we picked?

I know we can discuss this at the next meeting, I just wanted to bring some options for the party beforehand....

Discuss.....

I think it was the 1st. Wasn't Fred going to be out of town on the 15th?

Im fine with the 1st as well, but i have one big question. Do we need to reserve the liquor luge a good bit ahead of time, or can we call like that week? I want to make sure details like that are attended to.

Well our next meeting is on Nov. 14th at Angela's in Thornburg, VA. The Richmond crowd usually carpools up for the meeting from Ashland.

I'll miss next weeks meeting - out of town for business. But either the 1st or the 15th works for me - I"ll also be helping Richard fix his broken junk this weekend, and will get him to weigh in.

A couple of fyi's:

1) SOR's Christmas sale (10% off on everything in stock) runs Dec 3-7;

2) U4WDA is holding it's first wheeling event ever (I was told) at Oak Ridge, Va. It's in April. They are planning trail riding, vendor area, door prizes (huge part), meal(s), etc... Go to United's web site for more details and registration.

Tim
