Cheap steel?

Where in the richmond area can i find a steel yard with the inclination to let someone like me buy a small volume of steel drops, like peices of 2x4 square tubing and plate. Id like to perhaps be able to buy it by the pound or at a reduced rate.

My bumpers are just a joke now so its time to start the cutting, and it would probably be best to put something back in its place.

Matt,

You are best off finding a fab shop that does a lot of production work. They will ususally let you get drops very cheap. they just recycle it. West end Fab in Short pump is where I used to get a lot of stuff from. If not look in the phone book and go stop by somewhere with cash in your pocket. If you call they will tell you No and go the Hell away. There are several placed in Richmond you could check. Check out machince shops as well.
