I got the newfields in today, im friggen stoked .

Now just gotta get enough hours doing mechanic work one the weekends to pay for a locker and GSMTR will be siiiick.

congrats!

I would wait till you can get a locker before installing them. I think Troy still has the Detroit locker for sale. It is in a coarse spline 3rd set up but it could be swapped easy enough to your carrier

How hard would it be to get the pattern right with my current gearsets if i were to get that detroit? I was hoping to swap my front third to the back when i did the locker since i got some vibes from the rear third, so it would be a good time to give it a shot.

I got a lot to do, gotta do my exhaust, sliders, and i gotta find time to work enough to buy a locker.

switching out the carrier and setting the backlash should not be a problem. You could put the detroit in the rear and the lock-rite up front.

I just unloaded 19 sticks of DOM, We have a lot of bending to do. Once I get the invoice I will let you know your cost. Get up with Dwight, he can help set up the third for you. Also he has the bender right now so start designing your sliders.

Norm and I will be out of country for the first two weeks of April. I would like to start bending tube as soon as I get back.

Ok, well if you would ask troy how much he was looking to get for that detroit.

Also, how can i get in touch with dwight? Id like to help him out with his 4runner too, it would be nice to see how the doublers go together especially.

For my sliders, do you think it would be helpful to bend a little kickout in the outrigger at the back to help keep the quarters off of things? It would be easier if i didnt but ive heard a couple people say it helps out.
