The 62 has moved on to its next phase. Bug Cam for updates.

The Taco did okay towing it (or what was left of it). I got the weight distribution hitch installed this weekend - that should make me feel a little safer.

Any of you guys want to swap me a regular sized drawbar for this monster? It is a 12,000 lb Reese unit - solid 2". Awesome, except I have a 3" spike hanging down past the rest of the hitch with my little truck. I hate to cut it off, but might rather than paying $85 for a short one.

Tim, I will measure mine and see how long it is. I have it at the lowest setting with the gmc being lifted. It is the at the perfect height for for my trailer but if it stuck out a little more it might not hurt. I will let you know.

I'll check tonight too. I think mine is a lot shorter too. I'm sure Rob could use it more than me, but I'm willing to help where I can.

BTW are you still thinking of coming to the 2nd Annual Project Riley Trail Ride next weekend? I still have that open seat, and there is room in our hotel room as well.

Later

I'll bring the drawbar to the Mar 14 meeting. If either of you have one you want to swap that would be great.

I think I'm going to stay home next weekend. I'd really like to see Rausch before Coal Miners and the FC, but I realize that there are a mere 10 weekends to GSMTR! - Insert your favorite Jerry Reid song here - I'm going to have to take a deep breath, put the credit card in full on panic mode, and hope I'm still married come June! (I'm pimping the Jeep hard on NOVA Jeepers right now. Thinking ebay next weekend if I don't get a local buyer.)

Tim

Tim,

It looks like I have the same one you do. I have one more hole that I can go down But I am pretty low now. At least it will not drag on the ground anymore. Before the lift I used to drag it alot. If you do not want to cut it I would buy a shorter one. It never hung the truck up but did drag asphalt a bit and dirt. Great for planting crops!
